    On January 29, 2016, the 220m-tall 5A Grade A office building of the Pauline’s World City, a landmark of Tongliang, was fully capped. The office building is expected to be completed and put into operation in October 2017 when it will bring Tongliang into an era of headquarters economy.   
    Tang Chuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC District Committee and Deputy Chief of the District, Liu Shiquan, a standing member of the CPC District Committee and Deputy Chief of the District, Li Zhognjian, Vice-chairman of the NPC District Standing Committee, and other leaders relating to the construction, planning and firefighting of the District and of core areas in the District, Du Jingang, Chairman of the Pauline’s World City Project, and Long Xiaoping, General Manager of the project attended the capping ceremony and greeted the frontier workers.

    On the top of the tallest building in western Chongqing, one may have a panorama of Tongliang’s urban area. The project has been preliminarily completed. After full completion, the Pauline’s World City located at the core of Tongliang will be a wealth center and large commercial complex integrating landmark buildings, a five-star hotel and headquarters economy, as well as an urban symbol of Tongliang. As a landmark of Tongliang, the Pauline’s World City will play a significant role in the urban construction of Tongliang.

District leaders and representatives from the project-related parties were capping the building

    After the capping ceremony, the district leaders and senior officers of the Pauline’s World City visited the construction site for safety inspection. The orderly site provided with proper safety measures was recognized by the district leaders who stressed that focus should be placed on both engineering quality and construction safety. Additionally, frontier workers also received gifts and gratitude from the district leaders for their contribution to the construction of the core area in Tongliang.

    The Pauline’s World City is a high-end urban complex that integrates residential buildings, office building, shopping mall, recreational and entertainment business. The project has a gross floor area of 260,000 m2, comprising a large experience-based shopping mall, a 220m-tall 5A Grade A office building and 160m-tall residential buildings. Pacific Department Store, Yurunfa Supermarket and CJ CGV have signed for settlement in the project.
    With the care and leadership of the CPC committee and government of the District, the Pauline’s World City consumed only 16 months from the commencement to full capping. After full capping of the residential and office buildings, it is expected to have curtain walls and other façade decorations completed by late 2016, which will be followed by interior decorations. The shopping mall is expected to open by around October 2017. By then, the project will bring extraordinary shopping and dining experience to the citizens, as well as a great visual feast.
