Representatives from all related parties were mixing concrete for casting the top of the building
It is reported that on the morning of December 23, as representatives of the construction party poured the last truck of concrete onto the top of Building No. 2 of the Pauline’s World City, the “No. 1 High-rise Building” in Tongliang was finally completed. After completion, the project would become a landmark at the core area of Tongliang, and form the first high-end urban complex integrating commercial offices, shopping center, recreational business and apartments.
On the very day, the Management Committee of the New District Core Area, the investing party and the construction party who gathered together to pour concrete onto the top of the building with shovels for final completion witnessed the birth of the No. 1 high-rise building of Tongliang. It was also reported that the Pauline’s World City, a key project of our district located within in the core commercial circle at Zhongxing Road in the new Core Area of the District, was commenced in last July, covering a land area of 50mu and with the total building area of 259602m2, including 175,695 m2 aboveground and 83,907m2 underground. The Pauline’s World City will comprise of a 100,000m2 large shopping mall, a 5A Grade-A office building and 160m-high apartment buildings with refined decorations.
“The completed Building No. 2 of urban elite apartments is the highest building for the time being among buildings completed in Tongliang, while Building No. 1 to be completed before the Spring Festival will be the highest building of Tongliang”, said Li Chuan, Director of the Project Office of the Pauline’s World City. The completed Building No. 2 contains urban elite apartments on 40 floors, rising up to 160m high. Building No. 1 will stand up to 220m high after completion, and will be worth of its title as the No. 1 High-rise Building of Tongliang.
It is known that the project has been positioned as a landmark in the CBD of Tongliang, and the first large high-end urban complex in Tongliang. With progressive design, the project has the main structures of the twin towers combined with podium buildings like diamonds, forming a pleasant architecture group. Application of innovative building construction technology makes the project satisfy the high-end configuration standard for 5A Grade A office buildings, while the unique and creative environmental design perfectly combined with sound and light has projected the creative theme of the buildings, reflected the prosperity of the streets, and set off the grandeur of the buildings. The project will play a significant leading role in commercial construction of the core area of Tongliang.
Li Chuan also introduced that in the aspect of investment attraction, the Pauline’s World City has signed strategic cooperation agreements with over 20 projects, including Taiwan Pacific Department Store, Hong Kong Yurunfa Supermarket, CJ CGV, China Calxon Group, Hong Kong Grand Department Store Group, SICHUAN FOLK, Cstraits Café, Qiaobayu Restaurant, Singapore Food Palace, Ajisen Ramen, Holiday KTV, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and others. The overall project is expected to open before or after the National Holiday in 2017.
